UGC AWARDED “GREEN RATING” BY LLDA
The Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) awarded for the first time the GREEN Rating to Union Galvasteel - the highest award for manufacturing companies with effluent going to tributaries of the Laguna Lake at better than 20% of the standard. The event was LLDA’s Public Disclosure program for the Laguna de Bay Region.

UGC OPENS YET ANOTHER 2 WAREHOUSES
Union Galvasteel again ended the year with two (2) new warehouses in Batangas City and in General Santos City. This will now bring the total of warehouses to 14 plus 7 rollforming plants servicing key cities and urban centers nationwide. These were inaugurated and blessed in simple rites last October 20 for Batangas and December 1 for General Santos by the company President Mr. Arthur M. Florendo and Mr. Agripino M. Roranes, the Senior Vice President.
